Serina Lee Balsam Keys – Serina (Ixchel) was born in Flint, Michigan on May 18, 1971. She moved to Denver in 1986. She enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1989 to 1994. She has attended college at Metropolitan State College of Denver, the School of Theology in Illinois and the Concord Career Institute. She has earned her Doctorate in Spiritual Healing and her medical assistant’s license. Her husband, John and her two sons, Adeeb and Alan join her in Castle Wall. Her favorite job has been being a mother and wife. She has played roles in independent films. Serina has earned her red belt in Tae Kwon Do. She joined Castle Wall in 2000, playing the character Ranora until she and her family took a sabbatical in 2004. She enjoys being a psychic and can read tarot with skill. When she is not slinging steel, she can usually be found practicing her spiritual arts, like meditation, chakra balancing or past life regressions. Serina will be playing the role of Fanny Little for the 2008 season.
